KUOLMi handmade jewelry
Slovenia used to be a wild, wet forest. It was a magical world full of wildlife and no one ever stepped inside. Wild jungle ... trees bathed in the sun and wild animals ran around. New trees grew and old ones rested. In this magical world, trees did not die - they turned into a stone called coal. Today, the artist digs it up and lets these 20 million year old trees see the sunlight again. This is the story of stones that travel through time and want to do it with you! Kuolmi is the local name for coal. Slovenia's natural coal will share the memory of Slovenia wherever you go.

Kuolmi jewelry is handmade by local artist Marjeta Hribar. He manually selects, cuts and shapes each piece. Her message has an ecological note: wear it, don’t burn it! The designer is known for designing the Miss Slovenia 2018 and 2019 crown, collaborating with Alpina and promoting Slovenian heritage in a new creative way.
